  • Crispy Mushroom Bites with Aioli

    Ingredients

    1) 3 - 4 King Oyster Mushrooms

    2) 1/3 cup Cornstarch

    3) 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour

    4) 1/2 cup Water

    5) A pinch of Salt & Pepper

    6) 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

    7) 2 cups Cornflakes

    8) Raglan Food Co Vegan Aioli (for serving)


    Method

    Step 1 of 6

    Cut the mushrooms into ½ inch thick slices.

    Step 2 of 6

    Mix all the ingredients (except cornflakes and the mushrooms) in a bowl.

    Step 3 of 6

    Place the cornflakes in a ziplock bag and seal it. Roll a rolling pin over the bag and crush the corn flakes (not too fine) until it reaches an even consistency.

    Step 4 of 6

    Dip the mushrooms in the batter, then in the crushed cornflakes.

    Fry until golden. Remove and place on a paper towel.

    Dip it in your favourite dip (we used Raglan’s Vegan Aioli) and enjoy!
