    A recipe that is an effortlessly delicious pastry

     

    Ingredients

    1) 1 tbsp Butter or Olive Oil

    2) 4 @driscollsberry Strawberries (sliced to 4 slices each)

    3) 1 Puff Pastry Dough sheet

    4) 2 tbsp Honey

    5) Icing Sugar (for dusting)

     

    For Egg Wash:

     

    1) 1 Egg

    2) 1 tbsp Water


    Method

    Step 1 of 8

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

    Step 2 of 8

    Remove a sheet of dough (while still frozen) from the pack and place on a board.

    Step 3 of 8

    Using a knife, divide the dough to 4 equal pieces.

    Step 4 of 8

    On a parchment-lined baking tray, place honey then strawberry slices on top.

    Step 5 of 8

    Cover the strawberries with the pastry dough and press down to seal the edges. Trim the edges if needed.

    Step 6 of 8

    Brush with egg wash.

    Step 7 of 8

    Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Step 8 of 8

    Remove from oven and sprinkle icing sugar before serving.
